Electric power stations need to transport solid fuels, such as biomass and pellet to the boilers. They also need to move ash from biomass boilers and from incinerators and transport dusts from filters and electrofilters.

Ashes and dusts are conveyed to the destination silos within a totally closed system which is able to safeguard the environment. The low speed of transport enables not only to safe energy but it also preserves the pipes thereby reducing wear and cutting maintenance costs.

Enel –Italy's largest power company has chosen a system, distributed by Hascon Engineering, to convey coal fine powder. The system has a flow rate of 3.3 tons/h and covers a distance of 120 meters.
Groupe Tiru – specializing in energy recovery of household waste in the form of electricity and heating, the Groupe Tiru (Paris, France) is a producer of green energy. The solution has insulated pipes to allow ash pneumatic conveying at 150°C.
