Air-Tec system, a leading company in dense phase pneumatic conveying systems, has developed two manual bag splitters with protective door and gloves for use with toxic materials certified within the ATEX 22 explosion protection group. The systems,
fabricated from AISI 304 stainless steel, have been designed to avoid human contact with the material being discharged and to prevent dust emissions. Since there is no risk of the operator inhaling even the smallest dust particles, these bag emptiers are also suitable for use with unpleasant-smelling products.
